This physalis tattoo was done by Koopa @ l’Atelier Privé in Bordeaux, France on January 2013.
It’s a dedication both to my lover, as the french nickname for this fruit is amour en cage (love in a cage), and to my family, as it followed every single summer of my childhood. It was done one year after my grandma’s death. So, the most important meaning to me is a tribute to her.
Durin’s Door, also called The Gates of Moria, from Lord of the Rings. It’s still a little red, because it was just finished. Done by Eric Calrk at Empire Tattoo in Fenton, Michigan.
